The stockbroking firm Beaufort Securities has recently been declared insolvent by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) due to a shortfall in the company’s finances. With over 14,000 clients and circa £700 million invested, there are many people who have been affected and may have suffered a loss with investments ranging from ISAs to pensions. Many clients have received a letter from Beaufort Securities confirming that they may have received incorrect or negligent advice from their financial adviser as high risk investments were recommended that were not suitable for the average investor.
